Three Ways to Wear it: The Arden Top

Posted on

The Arden Top is classic, extremely versatile and easy to style. Get the most out of it by layering and incorporating it into multiple outfits all the way into winter. We're going over three easy ways to style it no matter the season. We hope this gives you a foundation for how to wear one of our most loved tops and inspires you to be adventurous with your own styling!

.

For our first look, we wanted to show how to wear the Arden Top dressed down for an everyday look. Pair with your favorite denim and oxfords and half tuck in the front to add interest and make your waistline appear smaller. We chose skinnies but you could easily wear with your wide-legged denim and flats or mules. Add a color pop by wearing pastel colored socks with your mules or open toe shoes. We recommend these guys Hansel From Basel in mint or terracotta from Bona Drag.

For our second look, we paired the Arden top with high-waisted black skinnies and a pair of printed boots. Wear this simple, but classic outfit to work with your favorite blazer or scarf and de-layer as needed. Boots can be interchanged with a closed-toe heel (to keep it profesh). Pull you hair back in a loose, swept up pony or topknot and wear with a warm-toned lip.

.

Finally, we’ve styled the Arden top with high-waisted skinnies, our Bolinas Duster in black and our favorite pair of Sevilla Smith boots. Do a full tuck (if your skinnies are high-waisted enough) or a half, front tuck to accentuate the waist. This also prevents any frumpy-ness that can happen with un-styled layers. The Bolinas Duster steps up your casual look and can take you well into the evening even with the slightest of heels. Dress up with a clutch and statement earrings. If it’s feeling extra chilly, wear with your most cozy scarf. Pro tip: if you’re timid with scarves because you’re not sure how to style them, tie the ends together to make an infinity scarf, double up and hide the ties and Voila!
